2026 Local Auditions for The Lost Colony Announced
Become a Cast Member for the 89th Anniversary Season
The Roanoke Island Historical Association (RIHA) is pleased to announce local auditions for the 2026 The Lost Colony season. Performers, technicians, and theatre artists are invited to take part in this historic production’s 89th Season on Roanoke Island.
Local Audition Details: Auditions will take place February 14th, 2026 at Manteo High School, 829 Wingina Ave, Manteo, NC. Registration opens at 9am and auditions will begin at 10:00am.
What to Prepare: Candidates should bring a headshot and resume, sheet music for an accompanist if singing, and a change of clothes for a dance call. The audition will consist of reading sides, a movement exercise, and a dance portion.
“Because our production features so many different elements on the stage – from classical acting techniques, large-scale puppetry, authentic dance styles, a fire specialty dance, and even a giant stage-combat sequence – the show brings together so many multi-talented individuals on the same stage.
