Painter by Day, Actor by Night
---> Face Painting PR July 08

(Manteo, NC - July 14, 2008)  During the evening, Ian Potter of Harrisburg Pennsylvania performs Amadas in The Lost Colony at Waterside Theatre. But, by day, Potter’s artistic skills can be seen on the smiling faces of children attending The Lost Colony’s Sleeping Beauty performances held on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings at 9:30. At the children’s request, he is known to create everything from American Indian war paint to unicorns and the Jolly Roger.  Face painting is one of several pre-show activities that entertain children before the children’s theatre performance. Tickets for the performance of Sleeping Beauty are $5 per person and can be obtained by calling the box office at 252-473-3414.  Be sure to come early for face painting and other pre-show activities.
