The Lost Colony Children’s Theatre presents Sleeping BeautyA must-see for children!  The whole family will enjoy a classic children’s story brought to life with music and dance. Face-painting and balloon-sculpting will also entertain the children.  Performances are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM, June 19 to August 14 inside Fort Raleigh Historic Site (June 19,24,26; July 1,3,8,10,15,17,22,24,29,31; August 5,7,12,14) Consider a family visit to The Elizabethan Gardens after the show. Brunch with Sleeping Beauty— Stay after the show, meet the characters and enjoy a simple brunch at the Theatre. Brunch tickets are $8 Youth (11 & under) and $16 Adults. Price includes meal and special photo with the Sleeping Beauty cast.

Tea with the Queen—Treat yourself to royal-tea! Meet Queen Elizabeth I and her royal court for a special presentation of sumptuous desserts, refreshing iced tea and delightful antics.  The Queen’s tea includes a backstage tour of Waterside Theatre. 48-hour advance reservations are required. Virginia Dare Faire— Celebrate Virginia Dare’s 421st birthday at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site on Roanoke Island.  Attend a day of free activities with music, games and fun for the family.  Reserve your seats early for the evening performance of The Lost Colony that cameos infant actors as baby Virginia—ticket charges apply. Christmas in the Park: A Holiday Open House—Enjoy this seasonal celebration with The Lost Colony.
