MORRISON GROVE APARTMENTS
The Lost Colony provides apartment rentals off-season. Most
apartments have two bedrooms. All apartments have a kitchen,
dining area, bathroom, and common room. There are also
Efficiency Apartments as well.
Available Sept through March
(North End of Roanoke
Island, just outside Manteo)
Rental Rate, plus utilities, plus security deposit,
plus key deposit:
2 B/R, 1 Bath (interior) $500/mo
2 B/R, 1 Bath Soundview $550/mo
Efficiencies: 1 B/R and Living Room combination, separate
kitchen and bath $400/mo
√Security deposit is
equal to one month’s rent, due and payable with the first
month’s rent and is refundable at end of the lease provided
that no repairs or damages are accessed.
√ Key Deposit is $20 per
key. Refundable when original key is returned at the end of
the lease. (A hardware store copy, K-Mart or Wal-Mart copy
is not considered an original key).
√ Application Fee $50 per
tenant, non-refundable, for credit and background check.
√ Signed lease required.
√ Units are furnished
with living room couch, chairs, table lamps, coffee table;
dining room has one table with four chairs; kitchen
appliances: range, refrigerator, most units have coffee pots
and microwaves; bedrooms (except Efficiencies) have one set
of bunk beds and one twin bed; most rooms have ceiling fans;
there is no central air conditioning but you can install
your own window a/c if needed; heat is baseboard electric.
√ There is no mail
delivery at Morrison Grove; you must have a post office box
address or receive mail at your school and/or place of
business.
√ Pets. Allowable with a
non-refundable pet fee of $350.00.

is available off-season to other renters.
