Local Lost Colony Dance Audition InformationAt 10:30, you will be given about a 15 minute organized warm up.
You will then be taught 2 dance combinations. The first will be a
modern/ballet combination. It will include technique such as
extensions, turns, and leaps. The second will be a partner
combination that includes steps similar to the social dances of the
1 6th century.
Please wear appropriate dance attire that you look good and feel
good wearing. Dance shoes should be flat jazz or ballet shoes or
you may dance barefoot, if you like. Ladies need not wear heels,
due to the fad that the show is performed in sand.
Our choreographer, Barbara Hartwig, will be running the dance
auditions and wants everyone to relax and have fun.
Please bring a picture and resume and arrive at least a half hour
ahead of your audition time.
