*The Lost Colony’s Queen for a Week

Actress Lynn Redgrave takes a turn as Queen Elizabeth I, as four-time Tony Award winning costume designer William Ivey Long looks on. Redgrave will guest star in the leading role during the opening week of The Lost Colony outdoor drama. Funded in part by the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau, the special performances will take place June 2-3 and June 5-8 at Waterside Theatre in Manteo, N.C. Long, whose association with The Lost Colony has been part of a family tradition for 66 years, is the show’s production designer.
