We want
you to be a Lost Colony Ambassador!
Become a LOST COLONY AMBASSADOR by
throwing a membership party for your friends and family.
It’s fun and it’s as easy as 1-2-3!
1.Choose a date and time convenient to you to invite into
your home a small group of friends and family who are not
currently members of The Lost Colony.
2.Print out a invitation from this Website and in the
space provided fill in the date and time of your party, then
mail it to those you would like to invite to join The
Lost Colony.
3.At your party, collect back invitations (which double
as membership forms) along with checks made payable to the
Roanoke Island Historical Association.
“Is there any cost to me?”It all depends on what kind of party
you want to throw. RIHA is offering the host or hostess of
these parties $5 for every NEW member who joins at the
Eleanor Dare level or higher (and for this purpose, new
members are individuals who were not members during the
2006-07 or 2007-08 seasons). RIHA would of course be greatly
obliged to any Ambassador who is willing to forgo this
subsidy.

Ambassador of the Year?
The Lost Colony Ambassador whose
membership party (or parties – feel free to throw more than
one!) brings in the most revenue for the Roanoke Island
Historical Association will win a …
PRIZE TO BE DETERMINED SOON
Both new membership and renewals will
be counted towards each Ambassador’s total. To be eligible
to win, membership parties must be held on or before
February 28, 2009 and monies collected must received by RIHA
no later than March 15, 2009. |
